Both the Tesco and Asda websites say the product, which costs around £2.50 and comes in a 350g box, is not available to buy.

A number of customers have posted on Xu in recent weeks complaining that they can’t even find breakfast food.

One said: “Does anyone know where I can get these Coco Pops Rocks.”

Another, directly tagging Kellogg’s, said: “Hi, just wondering what happened to Coco Pops Rocks?

“I haven’t been able to find anything for years.”

And in a blow to fans of the breakfast product, a member of the customer service team replied to another customer: “I’m sorry to disappoint you, but this product is no longer available.”

Customers who discovered Coco Pops, which some have labeled as “the best cereal ever made,” are no longer gutted.

One said online: “Plssss bring them back. You’ll pay well.”

Another commented “I miss Coco Pops Rocks”, while another added “bring back Coco Pops Rocks”.

Customers looking to purchase something akin to axed cereal can still purchase Coco Pops Mega Pops and Coco Pops Loops, which reportedly launched last June.

Walkers confirm they have discontinued the fan favorite flavor

The former cereal comes in a 365g box and is available from Iceland, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda for £2.50.

Meanwhile, Coco Pops Loops can be bought from Asda and Morrisons for £2 and come in a 285g size.

It comes just days after The Sun revealed Kellogg’s had pulled All Bran Golden Crunch from shelves, leaving customers fuming.

Manufacturers and retailers often stop production if there is little demand or if they want to introduce new products.

M&S recently pulled its popular Colin Caterpillar in a jar from store shelves.

The cupcake jars hit supermarket shelves in 2021 and have been hailed by fans as a “little pot of joy”.

On the other hand, Heinz has discontinued its retro Piccalilli pickle sauce in a blow to customers.

The crispy and hot sauce will no longer be available for purchase, the manufacturer confirmed last month.

The spice is often used in salads or potato skins, but unfortunately it will no longer be produced.

Nestle also discontinued its fan-favorite Yorkie orange bar last year.

However, shoppers were able to pick up the bars this year as retailers sought to destock.

The limited edition bars were launched in 2021 when chocolate with orange was all the rage.

Orange Dairy Milk bars were also launched around the same time, following Cadbury’s orange Twirl in 2019.

But Yorkie’s flame-coloured version, along with Dairy Milk, have now been scrapped, with loyal customers clamoring for its return.

How to bargain

SUN Savers editor Lana Clements explains how to find a discounted item and bargain…

Sign up for the loyalty schemes of the brands you regularly buy from.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

A sale is when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers tend to have occasional promotions tied to payday at the end of the month or bank holiday weekends, so be on the lookout and shop when these deals are in effect.

Sign up for mailing lists and be the first to know about special offers. It can be worthwhile to follow traders on social networks as well.

When shopping online you are always looking for discount codes or coupons to use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

It’s useful to have scanning apps on your phone. The Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare the prices of brands when you’re shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s in-app scanner to find in-store discounts before staff flag them down.

And always check if you can get a refund before paying, which basically means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
