Martha Entenmann died Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, Long Island. Entenmann’s was sold twice, once in 1978 for $233 million to the pharmaceutical company Warner-Lambert, and then in 1982 for $315 million to General Foods. Philip Morris bought General Foods in 1985 and Entenmann’s joined Kraft Foods. Entenmann’s and three other Kraft brands were acquired by CPC International for $865 million last year.
