In 2004, Stewart was sentenced to five months in prison and two years of supervised trial after being found guilty of charges, including the conspiracy and obstruction of justice, arising from the sale of his share in Imclone Systems, a bioparmaceutical company, in December 2001.
She was released from prison in March 2005.
