He was not in a hospital when he died, and he was surrounded by family members. The official Primal Scream Instagram page paid respect to Duffy by sharing a photo of him with a long text about how he always loved music and was a piano specialist. Martin Duffy rose to prominence as the keyboardist for Primal Scream.

Martin Bernard Duffy, born on May 18, 1967, began his career as a member of the band Felt. Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty, the band’s first album was released in 1981. The band went on to record further albums such as Ignite the Seven Cannons, Poem of the River, Train Above the City, and others. When Felt split up in 1989, Duffy joined Primal Scream. He was featured on two of the band’s albums. The band issued 11 albums and 26 singles in all. Dixie-Narco was published in January 1992, and Diamonds, Fur Coat, Champagne was released in March 2009.

Martin Duffy then joined The Charlatans, a rock band. Tellin’ Stories, their fifth studio album, was produced by him. The album, which was released in April 1997, garnered favorable reviews from reviewers and included 11 hits. It topped the charts and sold thousands of copies in Japan and the United Kingdom. The album’s singles were similarly successful, reaching the top of the charts. Duffy also performed with the rock band The Chavs and worked with musicians like as Beth Orton, Paul Weller, the Chemical Brothers, and others. He even played the piano in two films, The Laughing King and Wild Rose.
