It’s possible that he’s lying to Agatha and his true intention is to resurrect Wanda, but he’s just willing to say anything to get the powerful witch on his side. If Agatha knew he was planning to resurrect the witch who imprisoned her and took away her powers, she obviously wouldn’t be willing to travel with Teen.
It is also possible that the teenager is just hiding some details from Agatha. Perhaps his real purpose in embarking on the path of a witch is to gain a power boost and then use this power to bring back Wanda. Agatha can’t hear certain details about the teenager, so he may have even hinted that he wants to bring back a loved one, but Agatha doesn’t know it yet.
