Marzi Pestonji graduated in Commerce from Mumbai University. He has always been interested in learning dance. While in school, he enrolled at Shiamak Davar Dance Academy and has been an integral part of the academy ever since. He started assisting Shiamak as an assistant choreographer in Bollywood dances and other events.
He made his television debut in DID Doubles (2011) with choreographers Geeta Kapoor and Rajeev Surti. She gained attention for her cute appearance in the show.
