A BALAKLAVA rapper who boasts of murders and is promoted by the BBC can today be exposed as the killer of schoolboy Jimmy Mizen.
The Sun probe revealed that TEN Jake Fahri, 35, was recently released from a life sentence for the 2008 murder of gentle giant Jimmy, 16, in south London.

The Department of Justice last night launched an emergency investigation into the murderous drill rapper whose lyrics include “watched him melt like Ben and Jerry”.
His music has been featured on BBC 1Xtra, with DJ Theo Johnson saying it “really stands out”.
His radio songs seem to have been censored.
But listeners can find them raw on Spotify and YouTube — with lyrics that seem to refer to Jimmy’s murder.
YouTube told The Sun last night that it had launched a preview of TEN’s music on its platform.
Fahri, who is often seen wearing a balaclava, raps one song: “I put it on a man and watched him melt like Ben and Jerry.
“Sharpen my blade, I must keep the necessary ones.
“Be careful and keep him ready, every angle can be deadly.
“The judge looked at me, before the trial started, he already knows that he will throw the book at me”.
In another, he boasts: “You see how a man’s soul flies out of his eyes and he loses his breath.”
“S***, I wanted more, it made it less wrong.
Our son Jimmy Mizen was murdered – his killer is out of prison now, but I want to meet him so we can forgive him
“Seeing blood spilled on the same floor he stayed on.”
We submitted evidence of his texts to the Ministry of Justice, which said: “We are conducting the investigation as a matter of priority.”
Jimmy’s mum Margaret Mizen, who was awarded an MBE in 2013 for her work promoting peace, said last night: “It’s very difficult to comment until I read it.
“But if it’s true, I’m very sad because it will be a shock to the rest of my family.
“However, Jimmy’s legacy of forgiveness, peace and hope, which we share in schools, will not change.”
The BBC said: “Decisions about music are made on a case-by-case basis.
“We have strict editorial guidelines before broadcasting or publishing any content.
“BBC 1Xtra does not glorify violence.”

Jake Fahri
Fahri can now have his license terms changed to force him to share his lyrics with bosses before releasing his music.
The 35-year-old was released from prison in June 2023 and immediately embarked on a career as a drill rapper.
He did not respond to requests for comment but has deleted his social media profiles.
Millwall fan and former altar boy Jimmy was attacked in a bakery in Lee, south-east London, by Fahri, who entered and started an argument.
The wannabe gangster, then 19, shot Jimmy with a Pyrex, severing his artery and killing him.
Fahri ran out of the store, and the witness described him as “walking ostentatiously.”
Fahri pleaded not guilty to murder.
But a jury saw through his lies and the wannabe rapper, who went by the street name Diirty Detz and idolized American hip-hop stars, was found guilty at the Old Bailey in March 2009.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment with at least 14 years.
Less than 18 months after its release, Fahri’s songs were pushed to BBC 1XTRA and DJ Theo Johnson called him a “rising star”.

Fahri’s tweet about DJ Theo
In October, Fahri posted a track on Instagram called Rocky Marciano with the caption: “First spin on BBC presenting 1xtra Theo Johnson show.”
After playing his track, 1XTRA DJ Theo told listeners, “Look Ten, yeah, he delivers the beats in a certain way that really makes him stand out to me.
“I really like what I’m hearing, when I hear what he’s laying down right now.
“And I know my producer KC is a huge fan as well, and she sings his praises and properly rocks to his songs.”
Two different TEN songs were played on separate occasions in Johnson’s performance.
His songs are also featured on the BBC Orbit website, which promotes new songs and undiscovered artists, selected by local BBC staff.
Shadow justice minister Robert Jenrick last night asked the BBC to apologize to the Mizen family.
The Tory said: “License payers will be horrified that the BBC is promoting the music of a man who committed a murder that shocked Britain.
By playing his music, the BBC is helping him make money from his crime
Shadow Justice Minister Robert Jenrick
“By playing his music, the BBC is helping him to make money from his crime.
“They need to do more to make sure they know exactly who they’re promoting on their shows, because impressionable kids will hear it and it could make them think these people are role models, when they’re a scourge on society.”
Shadow Police Minister Matt Vickers added: “The BBC should be promoting role models, not convicts.
“This is a disgraceful misuse of taxpayer funding and the BBC must withdraw this promotion and apologise.”
Before Jimmy’s murder, Fahri had a shocking history of violence and aggression.
Despite his crimes, the Parole Board announced in May 2023 that he would be released, and the robber was released on the streets two months later.
The board concluded that Fahri was free to walk free despite a risk assessment which stated his likelihood of re-offending stemmed from his “willingness to use violence and carry weapons” and “difficulty managing his anger and emotions”.
The committee heard an impact statement from Margaret Mizen and husband Barry.
It was also heard that Fahri had not been involved in violence for “several years” and had taken part in programs to improve anger management and the use of violence.
Since being discharged from HMP Long Lartin, Worcs, Fahri has moved into a taxpayer-funded flat in Deptford, south-east London, where he lives with his dog.
He wears a tag, obeys a curfew and is banned from Lewisham, where the Mizens still live.
Earlier this month, Kelyan Bokassa, 14, a drill rapper known as Grippa, was stabbed to death on a bus in Woolwich, four miles from where Jimmy died.
Last year, 11 teenagers were killed in London, nine of whom were stabbed.
One was killed in the shooting.
In 2023, 21 teenagers were killed in the capital.
Fans of drill music argue that artists write about lived experiences instead of encouraging fans to commit violent or criminal acts.
Spotify has been contacted for comment.

Sick stories full of knives and lies

THE KILLER Jake Fahri’s lyrics appear to contain multiple references to his murder of Jimmy Mizen — including the gruesome details of the stabbing.
The ruthless drill rapper, who uses the name TEN to hide his criminal identity, also says he broke his mother’s promise to give up violence.
His seven released songs, on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple and YouTube, are full of lyrics about drugs, violence and gangs, as well as his own freestyle videos.
In the song Dispersal, he brags about being placed in the isolation ward of a maximum security prison. Repa: “Dispel me, then, so that we can part ways with the lifer.
“Swing around the blade when I promised mom I’d never touch a knife again.”
He adds: “I never understood life until you took his life. Look in the mirror now you look alive. Look in the mirror, can you look inside?
“Try to balance the good with the bad.”
Horrific descriptions of the injuries appear in the song 1Life.
He said: “The head is gone, the chest is gone, the blades are out, the meat is gone.”
“There, Donny likes to stare, so he got stepped on.”
Later he adds: “See a man’s soul fly from his eyes and his breath vanish.
“S***, I wanted more, it was less wrong to see blood spilled (on) the same floor he stayed on.”
On his song, Juggy also apparently admitted to lying under oath at the Old Bailey.
He boasts: “I’m not talking because I’m signed for the street.” I went to court, put my hand on that book and lied through my teeth.”
