A Massachusetts woman whose mother and 10-year-old daughter were killed in a murder-suicide in August has died in a car accident.
According to MassLive, WWLP and Western Mass News, Stephanie Croteau was killed in a single-car crash just after midnight Friday. There were no other passengers in the car.
A GoFundMe has been started to raise money following the latest tragedy to befall her family. More than $4,000 has been raised so far.

“Stephanie Croteau, our rock and the whole world has passed,” the GoFundMe organizer wrote. “He is now at peace with his daughter Aubrie and Kim Marie Fairbanks. An army of angels was waiting for her. There are absolutely no words to describe the pain and devastation felt by the Croteau family.”
MassLive posted a statement from Springfield Mayor Domenico Sarno, who offered his condolences.
“There are no words to describe what the Croteau family must be going through,” Sarno said, according to the newspaper. “Our sincere thoughts, prayers, condolences and words of encouragement go out to the family, especially the children.”

Croteau was the daughter of Kim Fairbanks, 54, who was shot by a neighbor while she was babysitting Croteau’s three children, one of whom, identified in a Facebook post as Aubrianna Lynn, later died of her injuries, the Associated Press reported. Croteau’s 12-year-old daughter was also injured in the shooting on August 14.

The Hampden County District Attorney’s Office said they were killed by Victor Nieves, who forced his way into his neighbor’s Springfield apartment and began shooting at the occupants before turning the gun on himself.
Croteau left behind two children, a daughter, 12, and a son, 5.
