Matthew Fox, Lost and Party of Five Alum, Set to Lead New Yellowstone Spinoff, The Madison

Matthew Fox joins Yellowstone universe!

Paramount announced on August 26 that the actor, best known for his roles as Dr. Jack Shephard on the lost and Charlie Salinger on Party of fiveis to lead the upcoming Yellowstone spinoff, Madisonalong with Michelle Pfeiffer.

Fox, 58, will play Paul, a “confident bachelor who loves the outdoors” in Taylor Sheridan’s new series, according to a press release.

Madison will follow a New York family living in central Montana’s Madison River Valley and is “an honest study of grief and human connection,” according to the announcement.

The pair will be joined by previous cast members Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Beau Garrett (Good doctor), Amiah Miller (The exorcism of my best friend), and Elle Chapman (A man named Otto).

Paramount announced last month that Pfeiffer, 66, would produce and star in the new series, which was previously titled in 2024.

“Michelle Pfeiffer is an extraordinary talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace,” Chris McCarthy, co-CEO of Paramount Global and president/CEO of Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios, said in a statement at the time.

“She is the perfect anchor for the latest chapter Yellowstone universe, The Madisonfrom the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”

Madison: Everything about Yellowstone Spinoff starring Michelle Pfeiffer

Madison is the seventh spinoff from the Kevin Costner-led series, which premiered in 2018, and will debut its final season in November — though Costner confirmed he won’t be a part of the second half of Season 5 following rumors of his departure.

The first spinoff, in 1883was a prequel series starring Faith Hill and Tim McGraw as the 19th century ancestors of the Dutton family, James and Margaret Dutton, on their journey from Texas to Montana across the Great Plains.

Attorneys at Law: Bass Reeves is a limited series – so far with no set premiere date – that has merged with in 1883 and will star David Oyelowo as the titular cult lawman.

in 1923 is another prequel to the series by Taylor Sheridan, which saw Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford as Cara Dutton and Jacob Dutton and described a family trip to Montana. Originally set to premiere in 2022, it was later renewed for a second season, with Mirren and Ford confirmed to return.

There are several other spinoffs that have been confirmed, but few details are available, including 6666called “Four Sixes,” a Matthew McConaughey-led spinoff confirmed to be “moving forward” in April 2023 and in 1944another prequel series that will tell the story of the Dutton family that year.
