The first of Matthew Perry’s colleagues has spoken about his death.
Maggie Wheeler, the actress who played Janice Hosenstein on Friends and starred opposite Perry, posted a tribute to him on Instagram.

“What a loss. The world will miss you, Mathew Perry. The joy you brought to so many in your too short life will live on,” she wrote.
“I feel so blessed by every creative moment we shared.”
Wheeler’s character on Friends was the longtime occasional girlfriend of Perry’s character, Chandler Bing.
Currently, no other members of the main cast of Friends have spoken about Perry’s death.
Matthew Perry was found dead in his home on Saturday after drowning.
According to TMZ, a heart attack in his jacuzzi caused his death.
There were no drugs at the scene and no foul play involved, according to TMZ sources.
