Mauricio Umansky Addresses Kyle Richards & Morgan Wade’s Relationship in Final Moments of Buying Beverly Hills

Although she never appears on screen, Morgan Wade is a big part of the show’s second season Buying Beverly Hills.

Country singer, 29, i The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, 55, has been the subject of rumors of a possible romance, and speculation has surfaced in the new season of the show about Richards’ husband, Maurici Umansky.

While giving an update on the status of their split, which the celebrity couple has been dealing with for the second season, Umansky, 53, answered a question about “what’s going on with Morgan.”

“Honestly, I’ve never directly asked,” he says. “They definitely have some kind of connection together. They spend a lot of time together. What kind of connection it is, I have no idea.”

He reveals that he was hesitant to even look into it. “Maybe one of the reasons I don’t want to ask is because I don’t want to put extra pressure on her. If it works for her and gives her a chance to deal with our separation, I’m fine with it.”

Wade’s name is also mentioned earlier in the season, when Richards reveals to Umansky that she is leaving town to star in a music video for the singer. Then, he says, he is sure that nothing romantic happened between them.

In a confessional-style interview, Umansky explains, “So, Morgan Wade is a country star. There’s a lot of rumors going around that Kyle is sleeping with Morgan. I have to tell you. I don’t believe she’s into Morgan. Maybe I’m the only dumb— who isn’t. But I don’t believe she has anything going on with Morgan. I don’t.”

At the recent final The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion, Richards addressed rumors about the nature of her friendship with the singer after appearing as a lover in the steamy video for Wade’s song “Fall in Love with Me.”

In the music video, Kyle and Morgan can be seen feeding each other fruit, taking a bubble bath together and almost locking lips.

I told the director, ‘I’ve never kissed anyone on camera, let alone a woman,'” Richards recalled. “So I was really nervous and anxious, but to be honest with myself, I was obviously curious enough to say yes.”

“I said yes for a reason, I mean, and you know, she’s hot, what can I say?” she added.

Host Andy Cohen then asked the “million dollar question” and asked if something was going on between the two. Kyle paused, but then denied the rumors that she and Morgan were a couple.

“I love her, she’s my friend and I love her,” she said, before admitting she didn’t know if she could see the country singer.

“I’m developing, I’m changing,” she continued. “Obviously, I’m going through some kind of evolution and I don’t know. I don’t know what the future holds for me now.”

The music video was shot before news of Umansky and Richards’ divorce broke last July.

In addition to starring in the video, Wade and Richards tattooed their initials on each other’s bodies and vacationed together in Paris.

Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills is now streaming on Netflix.
