Mauricio Umansky Declares His ‘Love’ for Morgan Wade After Wife Kyle Richards Played Up Romance Buzz

Mauricio Umansky has nothing but love for Morgan Wade.

53-year-old Buying Beverly Hills star, who was recently announced as a Season 32 contestant Dancing with the stars, was all smiles as he fielded questions from TMZ about his wife Kyle Richards — and her close relationship with Wade — as he left a rehearsal for the ABC show on Thursday.

Despite him and Richards, 54, being separated, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills the husband said he is “absolutely” excited to have his wife come to the ballroom to support him this season — and that Wade, 28, is more than welcome to come too.

When asked if he had a “good relationship” with the country singer, Umansky quickly dismissed any suggestion of bad blood.

“I love her,” he answered immediately. – Yes, it’s great.

Plus, he hasn’t ruled out dancing to any of Wade’s songs this season. He and his Dancing with the stars partner, Emma Slater, said they weren’t sure if they were doing a country song, but would “figure it out as we go.”

“She has so many great ones,” Umansky said of Wade’s music.

Rumors of a romance between Richards and Wade have been swirling lately. In August, the country singer released a rousing music video for her single “Fall in Love with Me,” featuring Richards as her love interest. In the video, she and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star coquettishly fed each other fruit, shared a bath and almost kissed.

Despite this, Wade insisted that there was only friendship between the two. “We’re friends,” she told PEOPLE of Richards in an exclusive interview in August. “The Internet is a stupid place.”

In July, a source confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE that Umansky and Richards had separated after 27 years of marriage. The couple has three daughters: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.

“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for some time, but they still live under the same roof,” a source said at the time. “They have remained amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”

In September, Umansky said Party tonight that his family was “hanging in there” amid the separation, adding that he and his wife were “both happy.”

“You know, we’re holding on, we’re working on all our stuff, which everybody knows about, and we’re just doing it day by day,” he said. “We try not to let the press affect us and all the social media and all the stuff that’s going on. So we try to just ignore it and figure it out for ourselves.”

Season 32 of Dancing with the stars premieres September 26 on ABC and will air on Disney+ and Hulu.
