The wanted singer was rushed to the hospital due to heart problems and underwent a CT scan
Max was admitted to hospital last week with heart problems and has been undergoing tests as doctors investigate what is wrong.
In his latest post, The Wanted singer explained that a recent CT scan showed worrying results.
He said: “I had a day trip today. Full cat scan of my heart. Not something I would choose to repeat!”
Max said he was diagnosed with 2:1 heart block, a condition in which the heart’s electrical signals are disrupted.
He added that his heart rate had remained stubbornly low for almost a week.
“Unfortunately, my heart rate didn’t pick up at all for almost a week,” he wrote.
“Because of this, we don’t have too much time to wait, so it looks like I’ll be in surgery much faster than the doctors thought. I might even be home for Christmas!”
Max admitted that the situation was scary, especially during the past few nights.
“It’s still quite a scary time at the moment and the last few nights have been really difficult but I wanted to say that I’m absolutely humbled by all your messages of support,” he added.
“Both people I know and those I don’t know. It gave me a much-needed boost and my family was overwhelmed with support, which means more than anything to me.”

Fans and well-wishers flooded his post with messages of support, hoping for a speedy recovery as Max prepares for surgery.
One of his followers shared: “You are so strong and amazing Max, I believe you will be just fine. That’s the inner Manc in you sending you all the love and positivity.”
Max previously told fans that he thinks he will have a pacemaker implanted.
He said: “My heart rate is very, very low and they monitor it 24/7. Everyone was amazing, but the wait is hard, you know what I mean?
“But yeah, unfortunately it’s just one of those things and whatever I get I’ve got to really get on with it and hopefully a pacemaker. The pacemaker is good.”
His shock admission to hospital came two years after his bandmate and best friend Tom Parker died of brain cancer aged just 33.
Max got sober after his doctor told him his liver counts were low after years of drinking on tour.
Mom noticed the symptoms
On Friday, Max’s girlfriend Maisie Smith, 23, was seen for the first time since he was rushed to hospital.
The former EastEnders actress was spotted leaving The Marlowe Theater in Canterbury, Kent, where she stars as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
Earlier in the day, Max’s mum, Barbara, revealed that she was the one who drove the Wanted star to the ER after he wasn’t feeling well.
She spoke to reporters outside her home in Swinton, revealing the family were “beyond themselves” as Max underwent tests to determine the severity of his heart problems.
Barbara explained that Max is in the best possible hands, telling MailOnline: “Max is currently in hospital and is being looked after very well.
“I took him to the ER this week where they checked him out. He’s in the best place he can be right now.
“He is very grateful for all the good wishes from his fans, and all his friends and family are with him.
“They did some tests to see who would be the best management in the future.”
Doctors discovered heart problems during routine tests after his admission, leaving Max with an uncertain path ahead.
Max previously explained the situation to his followers, saying: “Yesterday I felt really bad and was taken to hospital.
“Unfortunately, after some tests, they discovered that I have heart problems.
“I still have a lot of tests to determine the extent of the problem and what surgery I will need to get back on my feet.”
Max’s health scare comes just two years after he lost his best friend and bandmate Tom to brain cancer.

The tragedy had a profound effect on Max, who credited Tom with changing his life for the better.
On Channel 4’s Scared of the Dark, Max spoke candidly about the loss, saying: “I don’t think I’ll ever be okay with it.”
This is not the first time that Max has faced significant health challenges.
