Mayank Dixit is an Indian casting director and acting coach. He is known for his work in the film Poorna – Bravery (2017). In July 2023, he got into a fierce fight over a parking issue and was severely beaten by some unidentified people.

Mayank Dixit was born on Saturday, January 11, 1986 in New Delhi (37 years old; as of 2023). He studied at Guru Harkrishan Public School, New Delhi. He pursued BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Pitampura, New Delhi. He studied for a Diploma in Theater Performance. Later, he moved to Mumbai and worked in the Hindi film industry.

Mayank Dixit started his career as an assistant director in the 2008 Bollywood film Yuvvraaj. He worked as an additional assistant director on the film Aisha (2010). He assisted film director Manoj Tiwari in Hello Darling (2010). In 2012, he served as the second assistant director on the films “Gattu” and “Challo Driver”.

The film received a special nomination in the “German Children’s Welfare Institute” category at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival. In 2014, he served as the casting director for the film Kaanchi starring Kartik Aryan. The following year, he conducted acting workshops for children featured in the film Torbaaz (2020) starring Sanjay Dutt.

On July 2, 2023, Mayank Dixit got into an ugly fight with some unidentified people. The incident occurred when Dixit was returning home to New Delhi in a taxi. An unidentified man allegedly got into an argument with the taxi driver over reversing the vehicle, before the driver left the scene. The man then insulted the director and got into an argument with him. As the argument grew more heated, the man gathered two or three other men and together they attacked Mayank, leaving him half dead. Mayak suffered serious injuries to his neck and head. He was first admitted to Kailash Hospital, but later doctors shifted him to AIIMS Trauma Center for observation. However, a case was later registered against the accused under sections 308 (attempt to commit manslaughter) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
