McDonald’s has a fun deal to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day.
On Wednesday, September 18, the restaurant chain will be selling double cheeseburgers for just 50 cents in celebration of the foodie holiday. Customers can take advantage of this offer by ordering through the McDonald’s app.
This is not the only discount that McDonald’s boasts. The $5 meal deal will also remain on the menu through December. Popular offerings include a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, chicken McNuggets and a soft drink.
At the time, McDonald’s president said in a statement that they heard their fans “loud and clear.” “They are looking for even more value from us, and this summer they will get exactly that,”

McDonald’s summer deals are here too. In June, the chain announced that it would be giving away free fries every Friday until the end of 2024. Free Fries Friday, which officially began in July, has become a fan favorite, where customers can trade in medium fries with a minimum purchase of $1.

The sustainable containers began rolling out to restaurants across the country on September 10, along with Mini McFlurrys, which are said to be a third the size of the original McFlurry.
