Jason Tindall was born to Jan and Jimmy Tindall in Mile End, England. His father, Jimmy, founded Senrab FC, a Sunday league football team. Jason James Tindall, English professional football manager and former player, is now assistant manager of Newcastle United. Tindall, normally a defender, spent a significant part of his playing career at AFC Bournemouth, making more than 170 appearances. After a brief managerial spell at Weymouth, he returned to Bournemouth as assistant manager, working with Eddie Howe.
Their partnership helped Bournemouth make a spectacular rise from League Two to the Premier League, with three promotions in six seasons. Tindall took over as Bournemouth manager after the club were relegated in 2020. He lasted six months until he was sacked in February 2021 due to poor performance. After a brief spell as manager at Sheffield United, Tindall rejoined Howe at Newcastle United in November 2021.
Who are Jason Tindall’s parents?
Jan and Jimmy Tindall welcomed their son, Jason Tindall, into the world on November 15, 1977. Looking back on his football career, he recalls that his father never shouted; instead, he made a positive contribution, which Jason is now following with his child. He remembers joining the games without thinking about his father’s emotions, stressing how this differs from the experiences of many children today when unnecessary pressure stunts growth. Jimmy has a great affinity for football, having created Senrab FC in 1961 when he was only 15 years old.
The club started playing eight a side before switching to 11 a side after two years. Senrab has produced elite level players and coaches such as John Terry, Sol Campbell, Bobby Zamora and Jermain Defoe. Jason, who showed early potential at Senrab, played a year beyond his years in a strong midfield tandem with Bowyer. While proud of his father’s contribution to the development of Senrab, Jason highlights Jimmy’s immense impact during his 25 years at West Ham’s academy. Jimmy’s achievements there, where he found and developed players like Joe Cole and Michael Carrick, are his father’s achievements of which he is most proud.
Married life and children
Jason Tindall and his wife Claudine Bush have been married for over 21 years. The couple exchanged wedding vows in 2003. They have two children: Sienna (born in 2006) and Levi (born in 2010). Jason’s wife, Claudine, has been a constant in his life since the beginning.
According to him, she has an unsurpassed awareness of him, knows his moods and complexities better than anyone else. Her support was crucial, especially given the demands of Jason’s long-term career. Jason recognizes Claudine’s ability to hold the family together, demonstrating her ability to manage the problems associated with his busy profession.
