The paperwork showed they didn’t need a mortgage for the nine-bed apartment, for which they signed contracts on October 3.

Overlooking Biscayne Bay, the villa has a 124-foot pool, a chef’s kitchen and a movie theater.
An insider said: “David and Victoria are full but buying a £55.6m house with cash is impressive.
“They love it and want to spend as much time there as possible.
“It’s their dream property and the culmination of their hard work.”

David, 49, and Victoria, 50, have an impressive property portfolio.
As well as an £18m flat inside the One Thousand Museum building in Miami, bought in 2020, they own a £31m townhouse in Holland Park, west London.
The couple also bought a £12million converted barn in the Cotswolds where they spend a lot of time with their children, Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and 13-year-old Harper.
The Sun revealed this month that they are buying a base in Miami.
The Beckhams were said to be worth more than £450million at the start of this year.
David invests it in brand partnerships and licensing deals, and Victoria’s fashion company has increased profits.

David launched Inter Miami CF in 2018, and the football club with star Lionel Messi is now worth £803 million.
