Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Enjoy ‘Cozy’ Night Out as They Work on Their Relationship (Source)

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly had a “cozy” night out together over the weekend.

The couple was spotted at Puppet Up! improv comedy show in Los Angeles, and a source told PEOPLE that it “felt like a date night.”

Fox, 37, and Kelly, 33, “sat in the back for the entire show and were cozy,” a source says of their date.

The date night comes just days after a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that the two had “another big fight” and are working through their issues.

“It’s always the same thing,” the insider said. “They have serious trust issues in the relationship. It was difficult, but [they’re] I’m still trying to sort it out.”

Another source familiar with the couple said at the time, “They’re still on and off.”

Although Fox and Kelly have had their ups and downs of late — including Fox seemingly hinting at a breakup in February — the actress couldn’t wait to sing her fiance’s praises while promoting her book of poetry, Nice guys are toxic, which was published last month.

Fox thanked Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) for backing the book, which details some of the trauma she’s experienced in past relationships and also reveals some previously unknown details about their relationship.

“I think it helps that he’s an artist himself and recognizes that he has an outlet where he can have his catharsis through songwriting — where he can express his pain that way,” Drew Barrymore told Kelly last month.

“As an actor, you don’t really have that because I’m reading other people’s dialogue. So I don’t really get to go to work and put my experiences and my pain into my art,” Fox continued. “So he understood that I needed an outlet for that, and when you love someone, you won’t deny them the right to experience relief from their suffering.”

She added of Kelly’s support: “And I think that’s just what it means to care about someone and want to see them get well.”

Within the collection of songs, transformers star described a miscarriage, later clarifying that she was referring to a miscarriage she and Kelly experienced privately.

“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and apart… trying to figure out, ‘What does This mean?’ and ‘Why did it happen?’ Fox said further Good morning America.

The pair also stepped out together – with Fox sporting a fiery red bob which she debuted amid the release of her poetry book – for a stylish date night last month as they attended GQ Entertainment Men of the Year in Los Angeles.

They held hands as they made their way into the star-studded event, which honored outlet 2023 winners Jacob Elordi, Travis Scott, Tom Ford and Kim Kardashian.
