Katy Perry performed at Invictus Games 2025 in Canada, showing support to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, her Montecit neighbors in California.
Pop Superstar, 40, entered the stage as one of the headliners at the opening ceremony of Invictus Games, founded by the Duke of Sussex in 2014. She closed the event, bringing the crowd to her feet (and inspiring the Conga!) With honey hit songs, including “Roar”, “Dark Horse”, “Part of Me”, “Life” and “Firework”.
Perry was performed by the Nadan Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, the 15th field regiment and the royal Canadian artillery band, as well as 70 members of Invictus Games Dance Corp and 10 dolls and performers Invictus Games.
The ceremony, held at the Vancouver BC Place, also contained the performances of Chris Martin from Coldplay, Nelly Furtado, Noah Kahan and Roxanne Bruneau.

Support for the “Hot N Cold” singer for Invictus Games comes after Harry – who moved with her husband to Montecito in California in 2020 – revealed that he and Meghan’s neighbors Perry and her husband Orlando Bloom became friendly.
“Just two days ago, Orlando Bloom sent me a message – because it’s just down the road and we somehow keep in touch,” Harry said at the time.
Perry performed at the coronation concert for Harry’s father, King Charles 2023. Harry and Meghan also attended Perry’s last play the same year about their residential play in Las Vegas.

Former British army captain, Harry, was inspired to launch an adaptive sports tournament for the wounded, injured and sick official staff and veterans after returning from Afghanistan with the injured allies and witnessing the warrior games of the US Armed Forces in 2013.
After the London (2014) cycle, Orlando (2016), Toronto (2017) and Sydney (2018), The Hague (when Covid-19 pushed the event back in 2022) and Düsseldorf (2023), the upcoming Canada cycle will be the first time the event returned to the previous host land.
The Vancouver-Whistler games will also mark the new chapter for the competition, as winter sports will be housing alpine skiing, snowboarding, curling and skeleton-first time involved in the history of events.

Dominic Reid, going to the Invictus Games Foundation Executive, praised Prince Harry’s dedication to the people, telling people that he “created extraordinary options for” for veterans and service members, making them “see, hear and worry”.
