Meghan Markle Made an Unexpected Suits Joke with Invictus Games Athletes (Exclusive)

Meghan Markle may have played Rachel Zane on SuitBut the character’s style did not move to Duchess Sussex’s personal wardrobe.

While in Canada for 2025. Invictus games, Prince Harry and Meghan surprised the Team USA on their breakfast team on February 8th. Meghan even shared photos of the gathering on her newly opened Instagram page, her Instagram Story debut.

Leandra Moehring was part of a group that met the couple, telling people that some of the athletes couldn’t refrain SuitThe show where Meghan starred from 2011 to 2017.

“We told her we saw her further Suits,“Moehring says.” And she is like, “I’m sorry I’m not wearing a pencil skirt,” referring to the uniform of my character for the legal office.

Moehring – who will compete in skiing, rowing indoors, skeleton and swimming at Invictus Games – shares that Meghan, 43, and Prince Harry, 40, were generous with their time.

“They really took the time with each of us. And despite the people who try to keep them on the schedule, they simply did not mind being painting. And that was simply neat,” he tells people exclusively. “I loved them.”

Bryce Ewing adds that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were “so down to the ground”.

“When Meghan looks at you, she really looks at you, and you feel it in your soul,” Ewing – who will compete in snowboarding, swimming, rowing and volleyball sitting. “She’s really caring. She’s very intuitive. She’s so down on the ground and looks like she really stopped.”

Ewing adds that while “people pulled them”, Meghan and Harry “were still trying to sit and talk.”

“They would just notice the little things about us,” she says. “I think one of our friends had a picture of his mom and dad in the back of the case of his phone, and she was leaving, and [Meghan] He was like “Oh, I really like that picture.” They just noticed everything and they were so happy to be there. ”

Christopher Bryde – athlete taken over by Biatlon, a wheelchair rugby, swimming and rowing – he tells people he had a nice meeting with Prince Harry.

Duke of Sussex “came, hugged me, got a bold selfie. We had a brief conversation,” Bryde says. “We were both in Afghanistan in 2008, so we had that relationship there. And he was a really kind guy. It’s like you met someone in the pub.”

The Invictus games, which run from February 8 to February 16 in Vancouver and Whistler, gather members of wounded, injured and sick services from around the world, encouraging friendship and resistance through sports.

Following cycles in London (2014), Orlando (2016), Toronto (2017) and Sydney (2018), The Hague (when pandemic covid-19 pushed the event at 2022) and Düsseldorf (2023), this year’s competition marks. For the first time, the Invictus games returned to the previous host country.

Dominic Reid, Departing CEO of Invictus Games Foundation, recently praised Prince Harry’s dedication to the event, telling people that he “created extraordinary opportunities for” for veterans and service members, making them feel “seen, heard and caring.”
