She completed her primary education in a convent school in Punjab. She then attended Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, where she served as a member of the student council. Parizada also studied at Pathways World School in Aravali, where she studied internationally recognized courses such as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education and the International Baccalaureate (IB). As a student, she was an active member of Rotary International and also volunteered with the National Cadet Corps (NCC). She also serves as vice president of the school’s Interaction Club. Merlin was also athletic during his school days and competed in air pistol competitions. She participated in the national preliminaries twice but was unable to participate due to conflicts between high school exam dates and competition dates. Since Merlin had excelled in business studies as a student, she moved to New York and enrolled in a business school.
