One of Melissa Rauch’s favorite roles as Judge Abby Stone in the NBC reboot Bedpan is surrounded by nostalgia.
“And nostalgia that would drive the ’90s kid version of me crazy,” the 43-year-old actress tells PEOPLE for this week’s issue. Parts such as the sofa in the judge’s room and the chairs in the cafeteria “are from the original [set]. So every time I sit on them or walk into the courtroom – which was a complete recreation of the plans of the original – I get a little nostalgic in my heart.”

Big Bang Theory The alum, who plays the daughter of former judge Harry T. Stone and lives in his stead, spoke to the magazine about One Last Thing.
The last perfect day off. You can’t beat a whole day in my PJs snuggling up on the couch with my family, watching movies. And just changing said PJs into a new pair for bed.
The last time I felt like a child. One of the benefits of being under 5 feet is that I still fit the kiddie rides. So not so long ago I was able to go for a car ride in an amusement park designed for small children. I had the best time of my life.
The last obsession. I am obsessed with my orthopedic memory foam pillow. Do I sound like I’m 900 years old? That’s the biggest.
The last thing I learned about myself is that I am chronically apologetic. Someone recently said, “Don’t say you’re sorry about that, there’s no need,” to which I said, “Oh, OK, you’re right, sorry!” I then apologized again for saying “sorry”.
