Melvin Ingram III, better known as Melvin Ingram, is an American football player. Ingram is a defensive end. He was then selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers (now the Los Angeles Chargers). He played for the Chargers for nine seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl three times. In 2021, he became a free agent and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He attended the University of Southern California and played football there.
