It was run by the Electrical Cable TV and Communications Service. She later moved to Philadelphia to work. Marakovits was also able to work as a sideline reporter for college football, indoor soccer and college basketball broadcasts for Service Electric’s 2 Sports division.
Similarly, in 2010 she worked as a reporter for 1050 ESPN Radio in New York, covering the New York Yankees. She later moved to New York, where she worked as a Philadelphia Phillies reporter for 97.5 The Fanatic/950 ESPN Radio. Meredith was also able to work as a sideline reporter for the Philadelphia 76ers on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, with her last 76ers broadcast on April 4, 2012.
