The Sister wives personality, 52, found a sweet match between her name and the popular candy brand. “Tell me your name is Meri Brown without telling me your name is Meri Brown…🤣🤣,” the reality star captioned the post on Instagram.

In the photo, Brown posed for a selfie while standing in an M&M’s store in New York. As a nod to her initials and last name, she wore a brown M&M T-shirt as she posed next to rows of candies.

One commenter wrote: “You’re Meri, but not Brown.” The TLC talent responded, “I actually am lol!”

Brown, who rose to fame as one of Kody Brown’s four wives in their polygamous marriage on the television series Sister wives, separated from the patriarch of the family. She confirmed the breakup in January.

“Any time you expand your family, there’s going to be a change,” Brown told PEOPLE in August for a cover story as she reflected on her time with Kody. “You just have the logistical stuff, but you also have the emotional stuff.”

“I’m human. I’m going to get jealous. He’s human. He won’t know how to deal with a woman’s jealousy,” she added while discussing her 32-year marriage.

In retrospect, Brown felt that a plural union was not something she could fully understand at the time she agreed to it.

“When you’re 20, 21, 25, 30, whatever, when this happens, you’re not old enough,” she said. “You think you are, but sometimes you really aren’t old enough. Or maybe it’s less about being mature enough and more about just not having the tools in your tool belt to know how to deal with some of these issues.”

Brown admitted that growing up in the Mormon church made her feel like she had to hide her feelings of jealousy. “Now I understand that jealousy is okay. It can actually be used as a guide,” she said.

The Sister wives the stars were sister wives long before the cameras started rolling. After more than three decades together, Brown has spent the most time in a relationship with Kody. In 1993, he spiritually married Janelle. The following year it was Christine, and Robyn in 2010.

On the eve of Valentine’s Day this year, Brown had a new love in her life – herself.

“Relationship Status: Dedicated to inner peace, growth, self love and gratitude,” read the quote she shared on social media. Another post on her Instagram Story stated: “If life just got a little harder for you, it probably means you just got better.”

During TLC Sister wives: one on one specifically, it was revealed that Kody had left the relationship.

Brown and Kody’s tumultuous relationship played out on the long-running television series.

In the February 2021 episode, while Kody described their marriage as “friendly”, Brown claimed that it was “dead, it’s over”. As the family fretted over the property and how to handle the houses for sale, there was a “misunderstanding” with Brown’s positioning of the house.

“Kody and Meri don’t need any more similar, misunderstandings or even similar problems in their relationship,” Robyn, whom Kody called the “family peacemaker,” told the cameras. “They are already struggling.”

After admitting that it could help her and Kody’s relationship, Brown said, “We ended up going back to Las Vegas to see our therapist, Nancy, and kind of work on our relationship.”

As the marriage eventually ran its course, Brown says she’s doing just fine now.

“I am successful in business. Another really exciting project awaits me. There are good people around me. I have a great support system. Things are good,” she told PEOPLE in August.
