Meryl Streep proved that pink is always a good idea on the red carpet at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.
On Sunday, Sept. 15, Streep, 75, wowed in a bubblegum pink Barbiecore suit. The ensemble featured a structured shoulder jacket, a pink shirt with a kitty bow, and wide leg pants.
She completed the look with open toe sandals, a pink handbag, earrings and pink glasses. The Oscar winner’s blonde hair was worn in a half-up, half-down style.

The actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Loretta in Just the murders in the building season 3. Streep — who has been nominated for six Emmys during her career and has won three so far — is joined in her category by Carol Burnett (Palm Royale), Hannah Einbinder (Hacks), Janelle James (Abbott Elementary School), Liza Colon-Zayas (Bear) and Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary School).

Whether at the Emmys or Cannes, Streep always represents elegance. It’s in May Big little lies alum wowed onlookers in two French-inspired ensembles at the Cannes Film Festival.
At the opening photocall, Streep appeared in a white Michael Kors suit, which she combined with a navy and white striped Lilysilk blouse. She completed her look with dark Prada sunglasses, a sun hat and hoop earrings.

Later on Le Deuxième Acte (The Second Act) She arrived at the premiere in a sparkly cream wrap dress with three-quarter sleeves, dangling earrings and black-rimmed glasses. She put her hair in a simple bun and carried a white clutch with a buckle.

Streep recently joined her Only murders in buildings costars (and other Emmy nominees) Martin Short, Selena Gomez and Steve Martin for the star-studded season four premiere in Los Angeles. The actress walked the red carpet in a black and white Stella McCartney dress with a pattern, which she accessorized with a wide belt.

During a For Your Consideration panel in March, Short revealed that he was “nervous” about working with the Oscar winner when she was first cast in season three.
“It was one of the biggest thrills of my life,” said the 74-year-old actor, per The Hollywood Reporter. “On the first day of shooting – which was rare, because I’m not new – I was driving to work and I thought, ‘I’m nervous today. I’m working with Meryl Streep.’ ”
