Mia Tyler celebrated the 2024 Grammy Awards with her son Axton!

The couple attended the Jam for Janie Grammy viewing party hosted by her father, Steven Tyler. The annual event benefits Janie’s Fund — a non-profit organization Steven created to help girls who have experienced abuse and neglect.

Axton, 6, wore a graphic tee and red tuxedo and proudly posed with his mum on the red carpet. Mia wore a casual all-black outfit for her look.

Roker (75) likes being a grandfather. In 2018, he told PEOPLE that his grandchildren call him “Papa Stevie.”

“The really young ones, like Mia’s son Axe, don’t know me yet. When they get a little older and get to know me, see me on TV, I think things will change,” he told PEOPLE at the time. Last June, Steven posed for a cute photo with his daughter and granddaughter that was shared on Instagram.

Sunday’s event marked the Aerosmith frontman’s first performance since breaking his larynx in 2023.

“My throat is better, but it is recovering. And of all things, I decided to listen to the advice not of my doctors, but of the girls at Janie’s house,” he told the audience.

Mia also told PEOPLE that her famous dad is “much better” but sometimes doesn’t follow doctors’ orders.

“Sometimes he’s not supposed to talk, so I literally have to yell at him and say, ‘You can’t talk to me now, let’s text,’ you can’t shut him up – he can Shut that mouth,” she teased, adding that he “very healthy”. Father’s vocal cord injury occurred during a performance with his band in September 2023.

“I’m heartbroken not to be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the amazing Black Crowes, playing with the best fans in the world. I promise we’ll be back as soon as we can,” he wrote in a personal message to his fans who announced the need to postpone the farewell tour Aerosmith.
