Michael J. Fox Joins Coldplay to Play Guitar During 'Fix You' at the Band's Glastonbury Set: Watch

Michael J. Fox channeled his inner rock star!

The actor, 63, joined Coldplay to play guitar during the band’s headline set at the UK’s Glastonbury festival on Saturday, June 29.

“With his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff: ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Michael J. Fox,” said frontman Chris Martin, per Diversityintroducing the star with references to his popular Back to future movie.

The band then performed “Humankind,” the paper reported, before Fox stayed on stage and strummed his guitar during a performance of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”

Fox was in a wheelchair for part of the show. The star was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991.

After the performance, Martin, 47, praised Fox for the key role it played in shaping his career as a musician.

“The main reason we are in the band is because Back to futuresaid the rocker, per Diversity. “So thanks to Michael, our hero.”

Fox previously collaborated with Coldplay at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium in July 2016, when they performed “Johnny B. Goode” — a Chuck Berry song featured in Back to future.

Coldplay made history at Glastonbury Festival this weekend, marking their fifth time headlining the annual event.

Earlier in the night, the band brought out rapper Little Simz as a surprise guest to debut a new song. Martin’s fiancee, Dakota Johnson, was filmed watching the band perform on a live stream from the event.
