Tish Cyrus and her new husband Dominic Purcel welcomed an unexpected visitor on their honeymoon in Hawaii: Tish’s daughter, Miley Cyrus.

In a photo obtained by PEOPLE, Miley joins the newlyweds on a snorkeling trip on the Big Island — she and Tish, 56, donned snorkels and fins, while Dominic, 53, appears to lead them into the water. In another photo, Miley was snapped in a black bikini for a water adventure, while Tish wore a blue bikini, a matching baseball hat and a white mask.

Tish and Dominic were married in an intimate poolside ceremony in Miley’s Malibu backyard on August 19, 2023. Miley was one of Tish’s bridesmaids and even walked Tish down the aisle. Two of Miley’s siblings, Brandi Cyrus and Trace Cyrus, reportedly also attended the ceremony.

“It was like I was in a fairy tale,” said the bride Vogue the big day. “The most romantic fairy tale you can imagine.”

Tish wore two dresses – starting with a strapless lace number during the ceremony, and a pleated silk dress and white faux jacket for the night’s festivities. She had help planning the event from coordinators Edgar Hayrapetyan and Pat Pedraja.

Tish announced her engagement to the British-Australian actor in April and became Instagram official in November 2022.

Shortly after posting an Instagram Story, which showed Tish and Dominic cuddling together by the pool, she posted a quote that read: “In God’s perfect timing, everything will work out!”
