Miley Cyrus Gives Her Grammy Performance Outfit “Flowers!”

The singer, 32, bought the iconic archive Bob Mackie dress she wore to perform at the 2024 Grammy Awards at a new auction celebrating the fashion designer’s work.

The stunning design featured in Turner Classic Movies and Julien’s Auctions’ “Hollywood Legends: Unmistakably Mackie” collection, showcasing Mackie’s dazzling award-winning creations, with a portion of sales going to the non-profit organization MusicCares, which supports artists in need.

“This dress is more than a performance — it’s a celebration of the relationship between music, art and glamour,” Cyrus said, according to a press release. “This performance was a pivotal moment in my life and Bob Mackie’s support in making it happen means the world to me.”

In February, Cyrus performed her hit song “Flowers” from 2023 at the Grammy Awards wearing a dress from Mackie’s FW2002 collection. The silver-embellished design features a bralette and a sweetheart neckline with asymmetrical tassels flowing from the skirt,

Miley Cyrus channeled Tina Turner and called out to the crowd during her performance of ‘Flowers’ at the 2024 Grammys.

The musician wore the design after winning her first Grammy for the song – Best Pop Solo Performance. She later also picked up Record of the Year for the song, making her a two-time Grammy winner.

Mackie, 88, said of Cyrus: “Miley’s performance at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards marked an unforgettable moment in her career. As the designer of this dress, I couldn’t imagine it on any other. That girl was born to perform!”
