Miley Cyrus Rocks Big Hair and a Chainmail-Covered Catsuit in New ‘Doctor (Work It Out)’ Music Video

Miley Cyrus is on a hot streak!

The Grammy winner just dropped her brand new single “Doctor (Work It Out),” and it looks like her gravity-defying hair, which she debuted at last month’s Grammy Awards, isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

In fact, her entire Grammys aesthetic—the disco vibe, the glitter, the lack of pants—is all here.

In the music video for her collaboration with Pharrell Williams, Cyrus, 31, kept her background super simple, letting her lyrics, dance moves, wardrobe and big hair take center stage.

For most of the video, she wears an archival Roberto Cavalli minidress from 2004. The body-hugging black silk design falls low in the front and is covered in silver sequins. It’s finished with a fringed hem that sways as she dances. She completes the look with black heels.

Cyrus then appears in a head-turning sheer black sword costume topped with a tiny silver set consisting of silver metallic shoulders and hot pants from Paco Rabanne’s 1991 haute couture collection.

The musician also throws on a shaggy blue jacket for a few shots. It’s another archive piece from the 90s, specifically the 1997 B.Christensen Mongolian Wool Chubby acquired by @Lab2022 and originally worn by Linda Evangelista on the cover Vogue in September 1997.

Cyrus’ look also has some major accessories. (Some might even be as big as her hair!)

She wears Monies lucite earrings, sourced by Paumé Los Angeles, which are made to look like large gemstones to match the energy of her over-the-top vibe in the music video. Cyrus also has a huge vintage Dior by John Galliano lucite ring from 2004.

Miley Cyrus closed the red carpet of the 2024 Grammy Awards in an almost naked fishnet dress, metallic panties and huge hair!

Speaking of massive, Cyrus’ hair was styled pretty much the same way she did for the Grammys, all thanks to her hairstylist Bob Recine, who has worked with Cyrus for years. Just as he teased her curls for the awards show — where she took home her first Grammys of her career — he did the same here, giving her volume for days.

At the Grammys, Recine told PEOPLE, “I’ve worked with Miley for a long time and tonight we wanted to create [something] different from last year, with a style that looked like it was from the 70s, Barbarella feels while still having a modern, punk edge. By creating a big updo while leaving some of the tease visible, it allows the look to retain a fresh, sexy feel.”
