Millie Bobby Brown Says She Asked Her Mom to Stop Sending Her ‘Sad’ Animal TikToks

Millie Bobby Brown says she once thought about kicking her mom off of TikTok.

The Stranger Things The 19-year-old actress revealed in a new interview with BuzzFeed published Friday that while she doesn’t often send memes or TikTok videos to others, she receives “a lot” from her mom — but they’re not the ones she likes to see.

“I thought about blocking her,” Brown teased during the interview, adding that her mom often posts “sad, sad TikToks of dogs in rehab.”

She continued, “But now I had to step up and tell her, you know, ‘I can’t let this all end unfortunately because I’m walking right on stage for something really important, and I just watched a cat get hit by a car.'”

She joked that despite telling her mom she never wanted videos sent to her again, her mom remarked, “But, you know, it happens.” However, the couple eventually came to some kind of agreement.

“And I said, ‘Let’s not make this normal. This is not normal.’ So now we have made an agreement that only happy videos…”

The actress, who started filming Stranger Things at the age of 12, said she was ready to say goodbye to the hit Netflix series and move on to the next chapter of her life.

“I think I’m ready,” Brown said Women’s daily wear near the end of the play. “He was such a big factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year.”

While she’s not sure what’s next, she said she’s ready to step into roles outside of her character Eleven, which has become culturally recognizable. “You’re ready to go and flourish and thrive and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life,” Brown noted.

Brown has starred in several projects besides Stranger Things — including Enola Holmes movies on Netflix, two Godzilla movies and upcoming movies A girl and Electric state.

The fifth and final season of the series Stranger Things it was briefly in the works before production was delayed due to the ongoing writers’ strike.
