Millie Bobby Brown had her hands full (cakes!) at her birthday bash.
The Stranger Things star celebrated her 20th birthday with fiance Jake Bongiovi and other loved ones at a fun party at Cathédrale restaurant in New York. Brown wore a strapless white dress for the occasion and her hair was elegantly pulled up. But her best accessory was a matching birthday cake.

Dessert, a layered vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, was simply decorated with a vintage border and a few black bows — a popular cake trend of late. At the top is written “twenty” in a cursive font.
In one snap, Brown was photographed happily holding a handful of cake after taking a bite. Her friend next to her looks just as happy as Brown in the video, laughing at the fun cake-smashing moment.

Their crew had a long table in a private room at the restaurant inside the Moxy East Village Hotel, according to Brown’s Instagram. The room is decorated with vintage concert posters and screen prints. In addition, there were large balloons with the inscription “twenty” on the table and several flower arrangements that added to the festive atmosphere.
Bongiovi, 21, shared a birthday tribute to Brown with a photo from the event as he teased “big” events in 2024 for the pair. (The two got engaged in April.)
“Happy birthday my beautiful fiancé [sic]. I love you very much. It’s a big year ahead 🤍,” Bongiovi wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself kissing Brown on the cheek while hugging her.
The Bongios and Brown have been mostly tight-lipped about the details of their wedding, but in August 2023, Brown shared how planning was going with Women’s daily wear.

“I can say that it is [wedding] planning is going — it’s so much fun and it’s such an exciting time in my life,” she said.
Brown was also candid about why she didn’t want the world to know too much about her big day.
“I think I’m probably drawing the curtains, just because there are so many moments in life that you only get once,” she said. “And for everyone’s opinion and eyes to look at it just seems unnatural to me.”
