A WOMAN who was last seen on New Year’s Day has tragically been found dead.
Lillian, 71, went missing after she was spotted at Manchester Airport just after midnight on January 1.

Her disappearance sparked a major police operation, with officers desperately trying to find her.
Police said they had become “increasingly concerned” about the 71-year-old.
The MEN reported today that the OAP had been found dead, while her family shared their heartbreak on social media.
It was understood that Lillian, who is from the Wythenshawe area, had just arrived at their airport on a flight before she disappeared.
Officers have asked the public to come forward if they spot her – saying she was last seen wearing a long brown coat, UGG boots and a Burberry scarf.
Lillian’s daughter took to Facebook today and wrote: “Thank you everyone for helping to find our mother, we have found mum and she has tragically passed away.”
They quickly showered tributes to the 71-year-old.
One woman wrote: “Rest in peace beautiful woman, taken too soon.”
Another wrote: “I will miss you so much, love you all too.”
