Mita Vashisht, also known as Meeta Vashisht, is an Indian television, film and theater actress. Mita has acted in supporting roles in many Hindi films and TV series. Mita is best known for her role as ‘Trishna’ in the popular TV series ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar ki’.

Mita Vashisht was born on Thursday, November 2, 1967 in Jatal Village, Pune (age 53 years 2020). Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. Mita is a postgraduate student in literature from Punjab University, Chandigarh. After completing his postgraduate studies, Vashsht studied acting at the National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi. She has since taught students fashion design, film directing and acting.

She appeared on the show to oppose the ban on Pakistani artists from entering India. Colonel VN Thapar also spoke in support of the ban on a debate show. During the show, Mitta yells “Oh shut up,” rips off her headphones, and walks away from the camera. After Mita left the show, Arnab said Vashsht had insulted him by saying “shut up” to the father of a Kargil war martyr. However, Mita clarified through a social media post that she was shouting at Goswami and not VN Thapar.
