Mithilesh Bhati became popular in August 2023 when she commented on Sachin Meena and Seema Haider in an interview. She said Sachin was nothing compared to Seema Haider and called Sachin “Jhingur sa Ladka” and “Lappu sa Sachin”, which many considered a derogatory reference to Sachin.

The controversy broke out days after Seema and Sachin’s advocate AP Singh filed a defamation suit against Mithilesh. Mithilesh refused to apologize for her remarks and said she did not use them to humiliate Sachin and that her words were local slang. She and her sister Geeta said that Seema and Sachin had humiliated Indian women who worked tirelessly for their families. They suspected that Seema might be a Pakistani spy and ISI agent and asked the Indian government to investigate Seema and Sachin. Qin.
