Even though it has been almost three years, I still feel the pain of losing her. In 2019, she died of a heart attack. I was with her the day before because she wasn’t feeling well. But due to my work commitments, I had to return to the set. The next day I got a call that she had passed away and I rushed to the airport but there was no flight to Chandigarh for hours. I remember being in a state of shock and having to spend a long time at the airport to catch my flight. Looking at the mothers with their children in the airport, I kept crying. After that I spent a month in Malekota, my hometown in Punjab. It was then that my sister told me to return to Mumbai and get back to work. It’s not easy but I’m working on it”.

When I signed Saath Nibhana Saathiya, I had no idea it would do so well. In fact, the show is scheduled for 7pm! I really enjoyed being Ke Ke, the character was actually not bad at all, but the situation just made him lose his temper. I was happy when I heard the audience say they liked my performance in the show. Recently, Devoleena Bhattacharjee replaced Jiaa Manek in the role of Gopi. I was very sad when I found out that Jiaa was quitting the show, but such is the industry, one has to move on. Devoleena is a very dedicated and humble person and I enjoy working with her. “

I also modeled for various print ads and from then on, I played a negative role in Star Plus’ Shaurya Aur Suhani. I went to Mumbai and after this show, I struggled for a year and did shows like CID and Aahat. But all this time, I was waiting for a character with substance and that’s when Saath Nibhana Saathiya happened. “

Yes, I have been invited to this show before. Bigg Boss was first proposed to me after Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ended, but I couldn’t do it that year as my sister’s marriage was also about to happen. I was offered the gig again the next year, but I didn’t make it. Then I got the gig in 2019 when I was doing the show Bahu Begam and I couldn’t perform that year either but I’m glad that didn’t happen because I lost my mother that year. If I lived in the Big Boss house, I would always be affected by not being able to spend my last days with my mother. ”
- In 2020, Mohammad Nazim became a victim of credit card fraud and lost Rs 25,000. He talked about this in an interview and said:
At first I didn’t pay much attention when I received a transaction message on my phone. One day later, I received two messages from my bank about online purchases without doing anything. This aroused suspicion and my credit card was blocked. The bank staff assured me that I would get my money back. “
