Ringwald said she kept most of the clothes from Pretty in pink except for the prom dress in question, which was made by Marilyn Vance, who also worked on the cult film from 1990. Pretty Woman.

“It’s a shame — I’d love it now,” Ringwald said, adding that she would have told her younger self to “have a sense of humor” about the dress, adding, “If you can look good in this dress, you can look good in anything. ”
