Molly Ringwald has just gone from being a regular in the front row to a star queen of the catwalk.
Whenever Sixteen candles star, 55, is coming to New York for Fashion Week, always making a statement, and this time it’s back to her time as an ’80s teen queen!
On Tuesday, the Golden Globe nominee, who currently stars in Feud: Capote vs Swans, he walked in the Batsheva fashion show in a cast including models over 40 years old River’s Edge actress Ione Skye. The label will highlight one’s unique experience with aging.
Ringwald wore two different outfits on the runway. Her all-purple dress gave off a total ’80s vibe with its accentuated shoulders, matching belt and below-the-knee length. The other, all black, was more modern, with a unique headgear and black arm warmers.

Ringwald’s radiant makeup, courtesy of Laura Geller Beauty, matched the mood of the collection, which was inspired by femininity translated through designs with historical references, but made with modern fabrics and colors.

Before taking center stage in Batsheva, Ringwald attended the Helmut Lang show in Brooklyn, NY, wearing a chic black tailored suit accented with honey yellow stripes on pants that matched her button-up. She even wore shades indoors, upping the cool factor of her look.

Ringwald also has some pretty memorable looks from her iconic films, some of which she wishes she still owned.
While speaking to PEOPLE at the New York City Ballet’s Fall 2023 Gala on Oct. 5, where she was stunning in a silky teal gown, Ringwald said she wishes she still had her outfit from The breakfast club and her prom dress from Pretty in pink.

The dress she was referring to is a polka dot halter top created by costume designer Marilyn Vance for the 1986 rom-com. His look was based on Ringwald’s personal style, but she admitted in 2017 Teen Vogue interview that she didn’t like that number at first.
At the gala, Ringwald went on to tell PEOPLE that she “used to have a lot of stuff,” which may have moved over the years as she “moved.” She joked, “I’m sure it’ll show up on Etsy or First Dibs somewhere.”
