In the video, she claimed she confronted the unnamed man “over and over again” while they were working together and called him a “predator”.
When Theroux asked her what she meant by that term, the 40-year-old said, “I mean sexual assault.”
Ryan added: “But it’s very dangerous for us to have this conversation.
“I’m happy to have him, but it’s a litigious minefield.
“Many people have tried to catch this person for his alleged crimes and this person has very good lawyers.”
Pressed for more details, she simply said it was “not her story” but that she had heard the allegations from “very credible” sources.
Ryan has made similar comments before, including on her Amazon Prime show Backstage with Katherine Ryan.
On the show, she told fellow comedian Sarah Pascoe that she was performing with someone who both women “believe is a predator”.
She also claimed that she called him a predator to his face.
But she added that she stopped accusing them publicly because she had no hard evidence and it could harm her career and the well-being of her family.
Ryan emphasized that she was not the victim of any assault, but was aware of the allegations against the man.
