Morgan Wallen Was Hit with Fan's Phone During Concert in Denver and Threw It Back into the Crowd

Morgan Wallen is the latest artist to be hit with an object during a performance.

A fan threw a phone at the country star while performing at Mile High Stadium in Denver on Thursday, June 27.

According to fan-recorded footage, Wallen, 31, was singing his song “Cowgirls” when a concertgoer pelted him with a phone.

The phone hit him in the shoulder before it fell to the stage, and Wallen then threw the object off the stage before finishing the song unmolested.

Morgan Wallen punched in the face with a thong during the concert, threw underwear into the audience

Representatives for Wallen have not yet responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Since last summer, many musicians have come to grips with a dangerous trend of invasive fan incidents, which have involved many having to dodge objects thrown at them.

Bebe Rexha was seriously injured in New York when a fan threw a cell phone in her face (he was arrested), and Harry Styles was hit multiple times during his European tour last summer. Kelsea Ballerini even got hit in the eye with a bracelet during a performance in Idaho.

In another disturbing situation, Ava Max was slapped by a concertgoer while performing her song “The Motto” at a show in Los Angeles at the Fonda Theatre.

However, a less dangerous object was thrown at Wallen recently.

On Friday, June 21, Wallen was hit in the face by a fan’s thong after clothing was thrown on stage during his performance in Minneapolis.

Morgan Wallen & Post Malone Release The Eagerly Anticipated ‘I Had Some Help’: Listen

In a fan-shot video, the “Chasin’ You” headed to one side of the stage while performing his hit collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help.” When he crouched down to sing to his fans, an audience member pelted him with a thong that landed on his hat before catching it in his hand.

Wallen smiled and walked to the other side of the stage and tossed the thong back to the audience.

The “Wasted on You” singer kicked off the 2024 leg of his One Night at a Time world tour in Indianapolis in April and will continue to perform across North America before wrapping up Friday, Aug. 9, in Las Vegas.
