Morgz was born on August 6, 2001 in Sheffield, England. Morgz age is 18 from now on. Morgz is a real name Morgan Hudson. Morgz started his channel by uploading gaming videos. YouTube career
Morgz started his YouTube channel on June 10, 2014 and uploaded his first video on June 15, 2014. While starting his channel, he changed his channel name many times. He changed the name of the channel a total of 5 times. Initially the name of the channel was “LegendaryGamersHD” and later it was changed to “AngryGamerHD”. He then changed it to “MorgzGaming” and after that to “ItsMorgz”. In the end he decided to change it to “Morgz” and luckily the channel was never changed after that.
He started his channel by uploading occasional Minecraft and FIFA gameplay videos along with QnAs. It reached the milestone of 1000 subscribers on June 21, 2015, which means it took more than a year to reach 1000 subscribers. After 11 months, he managed to reach 100,000 subscribers. The number of his subscribers increased 99 times in less than a year.
In July 2016, it had about 300 thousand subscribers and that’s when Pokemon GO was launched and the game was trending. So, Morgz took the opportunity to upload Pokemon GO games, and one of the videos went viral. The video had more than 7 million views. By the end of August 2016, he managed to reach 500 thousand subscribers. He recorded daily videos throughout December and then Morgz started changing the content of the channel. He started making challenges and jokes. In the month of December, it gained about 250,000 subscribers. The growth is a result of his daily blogs during the month. It started 2017 with 1.2 million subscribers.
At the beginning of 2017, he drop out of school. He said the reason he dropped out of school was because he wanted to focus more on his YouTube channel and make it a full-time job. By the end of 2017, he had doubled the number of subscribers. In the last three months of 2017 and the first two months of 2018, it did not gain many subscribers. He just gained about 300 thousand subscribers during that period.
At the beginning of 2018, there was a time when fortnite was the most popular game on YouTube. Literally, all the players started recording fortnite games. Morgz took the opportunity and started recording videos on fortnite. Video titled “Kid Spends $500 on FORTNITE with Mom’s Credit Card” [MUST WATCH]” went crazy viral. It has more than 15 million views. In the first half of 2018, he uploaded both Fortnite challenges and games. His channel grew rapidly in the second half of 2018. – Morgz has been exposed and grilled by YouTubers such as PewDiePie, Memeulous, Kavos, Danny Gonzalez, etc. Most of the videos he posts are clickbait and unoriginal. He entices viewers and receives millions of views on his videos. All his videos uploaded back a year are clickbait. Since his audience is young, he always falls into the trap of clickbait videos. Even PewDiePie, the biggest YouTuber on the planet, made a video exposing one of his fake but viral videos (Pause Challenge).
– Most of Morgz’s videos are unoriginal, which means he copies original ideas from youtube. MrBeast started the “Last to Leave challenge” trend and Morgz also copied this idea.
