Mormon Wives' Thanksgiving Post About Them Being a 'Fam' Sparks New MomTok Drama: 'When We All Still Liked Each Other'

Looks like even more drama is brewing among the MomTok members.

On November 28, the official The Secret Lives of Mormon Women The Instagram page celebrated Thanksgiving with a throwback photo of the cast in pajamas with the caption, “Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours 🫶.”

Despite the cheerful photo, fans quickly began to notice cryptic comments from MomTok members that alluded to the ongoing drama within the group.

Layla Taylor commented that the photo was taken “when everyone still liked each other”, while Demi Engemann added, “before we REALLY met”. Jessi Ngatikaura also commented that the photo was taken “back when times were simple” for the group, indicating constant internal struggles between certain members.

Taylor Frankie Paul appeared to react to her co-stars’ comments, writing, “girls still rockin’. I’m just grateful for this opportunity @secretlivesonhulu @hulu @jeffjenkinsproductions 🙏🏻 thank you.”

Before the Thanksgiving post was shared online, Paul, 30, and the rest of MomTok were at odds after she called them out for not supporting her following her appearance on the red carpet at the CMA Awards on Nov. 20. He took to his Instagram Stories on November 23 and claimed that “none of my MomTok girls said anything at my CMA announcement” after it was “such a big night for me,” before adding, “awkward.”

Ngatikaura, 32, later posted a screenshot of her DMs with Paula, seemingly disputing her claims. “I literally posted you on my story. Is that for real?” she wrote on social media “I reposted your CMA TikTok and texted you all day saying you were there to support you,” she continued.

Ngatikaura also addressed the comments on Paul’s Instagram post, joking that she “forgot to comment even though I’m on vacation with my family and I’m trying not to scroll too much 🤭 I’m the worst friend!! Forgive me Queen Taylor, I’m going to bow out now.”

Other MomTok members like Mayci Neeley commented “the love of my life 😍,” while Mikayla Matthews jokingly asked to be allowed to “stay on MomTok 🥲.”

Mayci Neely addressed the drama in a TikTok posted on Nov. 23 that featured the text “people really need to fire MomTok for not commenting on Taylor’s post…” above the video.

On the same day, Paul posted her cryptic TikTok in which she used the sound of “why is everyone acting weird to me” with the text “I’m acting oblivious next time I have to see MomTok” written over the video. She went on to write, “I hope they kept quiet too,” in the caption, referring to the ongoing drama.

Paul and the rest of MomTok are currently filming the second season of the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Women, whose premiere is scheduled for spring 2025.
