Morris was born in Germany to a German father and a Kenyan/Swedish mother. Dirk and Jessica Nowitzki, his parents, fell in love as soon as they met in February 2010 at a charity event for the Sports for Education and Economic Development (SEED) initiative. When asked about his ex-fiancée’s arrest, he said he was just as surprised as everyone else and didn’t know when it happened.
Besides, he was quite embarrassed by the whole situation and felt uncomfortable in public. This has a strong impact on Dirk, a sensitive man, and he feels empty.
