They also collaborated on the title track from Meat Loaf’s 2006 album, Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose, with American singer-songwriter Desmond Child.

John 5 is the guitarist for the rock bands Marliyn Manson and Rob Zombie.

Why did Mick Mars announce his retirement?

Mick Mars, the band’s founding guitarist, decided to leave the band after suffering from ankylosing spondylitis, a joint disease.

According to the band’s official statement:

“Mick Mars, the co-founder and lead guitarist of heavy metal band Motley Crue for the past 41 years, revealed today that he will no longer be able to perform with the band due to a painful and nagging battle with his brain. ankylosing spondylitis (AS). .”

The statement goes on to say:

“Mick will stay in the band, but he can’t work as hard anymore.” AS is a degenerative disease that affects the spine and is extremely painful and devastating.”

Mars was diagnosed with the disease when he was 17 years old. This interfered with his mobility and caused him great pain. In late 2004, the artist underwent a hip replacement surgery that worsened his condition, causing spasms and freezing of the lower spine. It also caused scoliosis in his back and pressed him down and forward, making him three inches shorter than he was in high school.
