MrBeast's Kris Tyson Shares Before and After Photos Following 1 Year of Hormone Replacement Therapy

The YouTube star came out as transgender in July 2023

Kris Tyson lives his life authentically.

Last month, the YouTube star — known for appearing on the platform alongside MrBeast — made the announcement before and after selfies on Xex-Twitter, showing off her one-year transformation since starting hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in January 2023.

“January vs. December,” Tyson, who is transgender and uses the pronouns she/her, wrote in the caption of the post.

“(The first photo is the night I filmed the greyhound),” she added, referring to hormone therapy.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, HRT is a process that helps gender non-conforming people achieve a more traditionally masculine or feminine appearance. MrBeast’s Kris Tyson comes out as transgender: ‘I’m a woman! She hers’

Tyson came out as transgender back in July when she appeared on content creator Anthony Padilla’s show, revealing that she had changed her pronouns and the way she spelled her name.

“I’m a woman! She/she,” she said then. “I’ve never said it publicly, but for more than a year now, I’ve been completely convinced of that decision.”

Tyson explained that she was able to fully accept herself after starting hormone replacement therapy and after growing out her hair and being out in public with her femininity.

“I wasn’t quite sure who I was yet, but I knew I wasn’t cisgender. Therefore, I needed the freedom to be able to express myself and to be able to understand who I am,” she explained.

Not long after the release, Tyson shared her comparison photo after six months on HRT.

“6 months on HRT!!🥰”, she captioned the photo.
