One judge told Mom that her actions were “one of the worst drug driving examples” he had ever seen because she was forbidden to drive two and a half years.
The parents became concerned after Berry suddenly stopped the Ford C-Max in the middle of the street in the coastal city on November 11th.
The stranger took her keys to her, while other moms quickly walked in to walk her kids for the rest of the way to school, Kentonline reports.
Police were informed and Berry was later arrested at the scene before being charged.
When she appeared before the Margate Judges on March 7, Berry admitted to drugs and driving while he was ineligible through drugs.
The Berry’s blood test found the reading of 83 micrograms benzoilecgonin per liter, the court was told.
The legal limit for the presence of cocaine by -products in the blood is only 50 micrograms per liter.
Magistrates also heard that Berry has GHB in his system – a drug that has sedative and anesthetic effects.
Despite appearing on the day she was arrested, Berry was not an excessive limit for the substance.
Lucie Fish, prosecuting, told the Court that Berry stopped her car in the middle of the street as she wore her children last year.
She explained that the man had grabbed the keys to the drunk mom after raising his hand to stop her.
Some women then walked to Berry’s children to school because Berry “was not able to be able to,” Fish added.
Nigel Numas, defending, read the reference of Berry’s cocaine sponsor who said Mom had made a personal growth over the two years he knew her.
Berry has been said to make better decisions in her life and has taken full responsibility for her reference actions.
He added that Mom had true remorse for her actions and that she was determined to renew her life.
Numas also explained that the man she saw gave her what Berry believed was legal, but in fact GHB.
He said Berry was “naive” because she was unconsciously drank the substance, but that she “reached big steps” according to the beating of her addiction.
‘I don’t want to think about what could happen’
Berry was in prison for eight weeks by judges, but her mandate was suspended for 12 months.
She was also ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid job.
The bench chair said: “I have to say that this is one of the worst examples of drug driving I encountered.
“You had your youngest children in the back of the car and you were out of it.
“I don’t want to think about what could happen.”
Berry has also been disqualified from a 30 -month ride and has been ordered to pay the victim’s supplement in the amount of £ 154, with a court cost of £ 85.
She will pay what she owes to the court at a rate of £ 20 per month, because he is currently on Universal Credit.
