Mumbaikar success or failure?

Santosh Sivan is the director of the 2023 Hindi action thriller Mumbaikar. Starring Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi, Tanya Maniktala and Hridhu Haroon, it is a remake of the 2017 Tamil film Maanagaram. This is Sethupathi’s first Hindi film. Principal photography began in January 2021. Mumbaikar was released on JioCinema on June 2, 2023. According to reports from September 2020, Vikrant Massey and cinematographer Santosh Sivan will co-direct the Hindi version of Maanagaram.[9] Vijay Sethupathi is rumored to make his Hindi film debut with this project in October 2020.

The cast of the film is as follows: Ranvir Shorey as Prabal Kant Patil aka PKP, Tanya Maniktala as Ishita, Vijay Sethupathi as Munnu, Sanjay Mishra as Taxi Driver, Sachin Khedekar as Police Officer and Hridhu Haroon as Aadil. As for the budget of the film, it was 25 kr. Other than that, the movie did 6K hours at the box office on the first day and 10K hours on the second day. Mumbaikar received much praise for its believable plot and excellent acting.
