The tragic latest post from a mum-of-five – who is believed to be the first person in the UK to die from a Brazilian butt lift – has been revealed.
Alice Webb was having a cosmetic treatment at a studio in Gloucester on Monday night when it “went wrong”.

Police later confirmed that two people had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over the horror.
The night before her fatal operation, the 33-year-old posted a photo on Facebook of a small pumpkin – a “gift” from her daughter before the operation.
She added, “How sweet.”
In the comments, she posted another image of a carved pumpkin with a candle inside and wrote: “My little lamp.”
Officers rushed to the studio – at a residential address – at around 11.30pm the following evening after the alarm was raised and emergency vehicles were already at the scene.
Alice was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary but died a short time later in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Save Face campaign also confirmed the mother’s death.
In the past few years, at least 28 Britons have died – seven in Turkey – after complications from BBL operations.
Her devastated partner Dane Knight, 38, posted a tribute online saying: “I want to thank all my family and friends from the bottom of my heart for being there for us in our time of need, including all the kind messages sent to my children and myself.
“There were some very nice messages sent by some of your children that brought a smile to the corner of my children’s lips.”
Alice, who has five daughters aged between seven and 15, has also been involved in the beauty treatment industry as an advanced aesthetic practitioner.
A GoFundMe page set up by her friend Abigail Irwin also paid tribute to Alice following the tragedy.
She wrote: “Alice was a beautiful person inside and out and I feel very lucky to have known her and spent time with her in our salon.”
Gloucestershire Police told The Sun: “Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of a woman in her 30s in Gloucester.
“The police were called by the emergency service around 11.35 pm on Monday (September 23) with a report that a woman was not feeling well after a suspected cosmetic procedure.
“She was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary and died in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Her next of kin and the coroner know.
“The woman’s family is being helped by specially trained officers.
“An investigation is underway, led by the Serious Crimes Investigation Team. The two people who were arrested have been released on police bail.”
Alice’s death is tragic – the BBL proceedings are a crisis waiting to happen
Save Face plastic surgery group director Ashton Collins told The Sun:
I was devastated to hear of Alice’s tragic death.
We launched a campaign in December 2023 calling on the government to take urgent action to ban these practices.
We made it absolutely clear that without immediate intervention, someone would die. It makes me incredibly sad and angry that today our fear has been confirmed and the family has been torn apart.
Liquid BBL proceedings are a crisis waiting to happen. They are advertised on social media as ‘risk-free’, ‘cheaper’ alternatives to the surgical counterpart and that couldn’t be further from the truth.
We have supported more than 500 women who have suffered complications from these treatments, many of whom have almost died.
Over 50% of the cases reported to us developed sepsis, and 39% required corrective surgery.
All procedures reported to us were performed by non-medical practitioners who perform incredibly dangerous procedures in non-sterile environments.
They were unable to recognize and resolve the complications they inflicted on their clients, often misdiagnosing abscesses and tissue necrosis as bruises.
I am appalled and horrified at the unscrupulous nature of people who still offer these treatments even though they know some of their patients are hospitalized and will no doubt continue to do so after hearing this awful news.
It is outrageous that lay people see fit to offer treatments that surgeons will not perform because they are too dangerous.
We will not stop the campaign until these actions are banned, and those who harm people are held criminally accountable.
