My Mom, Grandma, and I Tested a TikTok-Viral Neck Cream for One Month: Did We Just Rewind the Clock?

How we tested GoPure neck cream

Each of us routinely tested this neck cream for four weeks. After using our favorite cleansers and toners, we applied this product in gentle upward strokes morning and night — making sure to follow with sunscreen if applying during the day.

Meet Testers

Grandmother: 75, freckled and fair-skinned with pink undertones. Combination skin with hyperpigmentation, sun spots and rosacea. Wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead, jawline, neck and chest.

Mom: 52, fair skin with neutral shades. Seasonally dry skin with rosacea and mild hyperpigmentation. A few wrinkles on the neck and chest.

The results

How did the neck firming cream feel?

Grandma: “It felt good on my skin. It was a little thicker than the face cream, but it melted into the skin after about two minutes. Once it was absorbed, I felt completely weightless.”

Mom: “It was very smooth and not sticky or greasy. It rubbed in nicely and had a very nice consistency — I would compare it to my basic Drmtlgy Peptide Night Cream.”

Me: For me, I found the texture to be thicker than most moisturizers I’ve used, but it spread into a thin layer that was hydrating and non-greasy. The product didn’t take long to absorb either.

When did you start noticing a change in the appearance of your skin?

Grandma: “It took me about three to four days to see a difference in the hydration of my skin. It took about 10 days to start noticing a slight difference in terms of firmness, but by the end my neck was completely different.”

Mom: “I used it twice a day, morning and night, and it only took a month to see results.”

Me: “I didn’t notice any difference in the way my skin looked — although it did give my skin a lot of hydration.”

What changes did you notice by the end of the testing period?

Grandma: “My neck now has a completely different look. I still have 74-year-old skin, but it looks a lot better now — it’s not a miracle, but it does help. It’s still loose skin, but much better textured.”
